TEDxPennQuarter Coming October 18, 2011
With the date officially set for October 18, TEDxPennQuarter 2011 planning is in full swing! This year’s event will remain in the Penn Quarter neighborhood of Washington, DC, however we have moved it just up the street to the Woolly Mammoth Theater Company. This contemporary and eclectic venue provides the perfect backdrop to a day-long TEDx event. We will occupy the theater space for our exciting TEDxTalks and utilize their classroom spaces to house our signature Innovation Lounge. Innovation Lounge Music Video is LIVE!
A couple weeks ago we put together an interesting experiment. We combined Innovators from all walks of life, all ages and all demographics in the same room with a challenge: Use your skills to produce things from scratch by the end of the day around the TEDxPennQuarter theme of REINVENTION.
After the show we showed a video of what the kids from Duke Ellington produced on the fly. Now TEDxPennQuarter lead sponsor Cynergy took up the challenge and produced another video. Anchored by the track created by DJ Eurok and Kokayi, this video gives you an inside look at all the happenings in the Innovation Lounge. Check it out:
