Yesterday was an amazing day.
We had 16 speakers, a host of videos and this incredible collection of talent in the room next door. The Innovation Lounge brought out the creative spirit in all that participated and the first product of that work is here for everyone to check out:
DJ Eurok and Kokayi spent all day sampling, mixing, remixing and producing this first cut of the official TEDxPennQuarter soundtrack.
Next up:
The kids from Duke Ellington produced a documentary in real time. We will have that link later tonight.

Can a group of students solve the BP Oil Crisis?
The Deepwater Horizon oil spill is the largest oil spill in history with 35,000 to 60,000 barrels of oil per day gushing out of the ruptured oil well since April 22. Marine life perishes daily and the long term effects on our coastal waterways is grim. Throughout this tragic event, BP has tired and failed on many attempts to stop, contain, and clean up the spill. When no viable solution has been found, they have turned to our national government, environmental agencies, and even Academy Award winner Kevin Costner to help solve the problem. One place they haven’t looked is within our youth.
